Named after Fynbos — the extraordinary indigenous vegetation of South Africa's Western Cape — the Veldskoen Classic in Fynbos Tan is a lace-up boot that wears its heritage proudly. Butter-soft cow Nappa leather molds to your feet over time, while a supportive TPR sole keeps you comfortable from the first wear to the hundredth. Every pair is handcrafted in South Africa and tells its own story.
Sizing note: We recommend that men order their regular UK shoe size and ladies take one size smaller than their regular UK shoe size.
Veldskoen shoes carry a rich heritage rooted in Southern Africa, with origins stretching back nearly 400 years to Dutch settlers who first documented the iconic field shoe. According to Khoisan tribal folklore, leather shoes cut from a single hide were crafted and worn over 1,000 years before that. Today, Veldskoen honours this enduring legacy with handcrafted leather footwear including heritage shoes, boots, sandals, flip-flops, and slipper shoes — each pair a testament to timeless craftsmanship.
