Veldskoen shoes are grounded in one of the world's oldest footwear traditions. The Afrikaans name meaning 'field shoes' was first recorded by Dutch settlers nearly 400 years ago, yet Khoisan tribal folklore places the origins of single-hide leather shoes over 1,000 years earlier still. Today, Veldskoen honours this living heritage with handcrafted leather footwear — including heritage shoes, boots, sandals, flip-flops, and slipper shoes — each pair shaped by centuries of craft.
