The Afrikaans name meaning 'field shoes' was first recorded by Dutch settlers nearly 400 years ago, yet Khoisan tribal folklore places the origins of single-hide leather shoes over 1,000 years earlier still. Today, Veldskoen honours this living heritage with handcrafted leather footwear — including heritage shoes, boots, sandals, flip-flops, and slipper shoes — each pair shaped by centuries of craft.
