Veldskoen shoes are steeped in South African history, with the name — meaning 'field shoes' in Afrikaans — first recorded by Dutch settlers almost 400 years ago. Khoisan tribal folklore suggests leather shoes cut from a single hide were worn over a millennium before that. Today, Veldskoen carries this remarkable tradition forward with handcrafted leather footwear: heritage shoes, boots, sandals, flip-flops, and slipper shoes, each pair honouring the craftsmanship of Africa's original field shoe.
