This is my 3rd pair of sheepskin mules. I wear them until they are absolutely finished. It was quite an eye opener to lay the new ones beside the old ones
Product Description
Plakkie is Seriously South African — and the Gonubie is a love letter to one of the Eastern Cape's most underrated stretches of sand. Just 8 kilometres outside East London, Gonubie beach is the kind of place locals keep to themselves: warm tidal pools, a scenic boardwalk, and the unhurried pace of a proper South African summer. The blue and orange colourway captures it perfectly — sun-warmed sand meets the cool Atlantic, right there on your feet.
The antidote to grey skies. Slip them on and let your feet do the reminiscing.
- Blue and orange colourway
- Tribute to Gonubie Beach, East London
- Lightweight and comfortable unisex flip flop

Plakkie is 'The Sunshine Brand' — a flip-flop born from South Africa's iconic beach and coastal culture. Each style is named after a beloved South African spot, from Camps Bay and Clifton on the Cape to Coffee Bay and Mabibi on the Wild Coast, bringing a little South African sunshine to every step. The collection includes unisex, ladies', and kids' styles in vibrant colourful patterns, with Springbok pride designs and special editions supporting the NSRI. Comfortable, colourful, and unmistakably South African.
